This privacy statement applies to the use of our webshop, placing orders, creating a customer account, contacting our customer service, signing up for marketing communications and using our website.

2. Which personal data do we process?
Depending on how you use our webshop, we may process the following personal data:
- Contact details: name, email address, phone number, address and delivery address.
- Order and warehouse data: ordered products, order number, order history, invoice details, return information, stock status and data required for order processing, picking, packing and shipping.
- Payment data: payment status, payment method and transaction details. We do not receive full payment card details.
- Account data: login and account details when you create a customer account.
- Customer service data: messages via email, contact form, phone, WhatsApp or chat.
- Marketing data: newsletter subscription, preferences, unsubscribes and interaction with emails.
- Review data: name, email address, order information and any review you leave.
- Cookie and consent data: cookie preferences, consent choices, cookie IDs and technical data needed to remember your preferences.
- Technical data: IP address, device and browser data, page views and click behaviour.

4. With whom do we share personal data?
We do not sell personal data to third parties. We only share data when this is necessary for our services, legal obligations or the functioning of our webshop.
- Lightspeed: webshop platform and processing of orders, customer accounts and webshop functionality.
- Picqer: warehouse management system (WMS) for order processing, stock management, picking, packing and warehouse processes.
- Lightspeed Payments via Mollie: processing of payments and payment statuses.
- Sendcloud: shipping labels, shipping process, tracking and return handling.
- DPD: delivery of parcels and service point deliveries.
- Reloadify: email marketing, newsletters and customer communication.
- CookieConfirm: management of cookie preferences, cookie consent, cookie statement and consent registration.
- Google: Google Analytics 4, Google Tag Manager and Google Reviews.
- WebwinkelKeur: trustmark, review requests and customer reviews.
- Belco: chat function and customer contact via the website.
- Administrative service providers: bookkeeping, tax administration and statutory retention obligations.
Where necessary, we make agreements with parties that process personal data on our behalf about security, confidentiality and the use of personal data.
5. Orders, payments, warehouse processing and delivery
Our webshop runs on Lightspeed. When you place an order, we process data needed to confirm, pay for, process, ship, potentially return and administratively retain your order.
For order processing and warehouse processes, we use Picqer. Through Picqer, we process data needed for stock management, order picking, packing orders and preparing parcels for shipping. This includes name, address details, order number, ordered products and shipping information.
Payments are processed via Lightspeed Payments through Mollie. We receive information about the payment method, payment status and transaction, but not full payment card details.
For shipping and returns, we use Sendcloud in combination with DPD. For this, we share data such as name, delivery address, email address, phone number where necessary, order details and shipping information.
6. Customer service and contact
You can contact us by email, phone, contact form and chat. For this, we use Belco.
When you contact us, we process the data you provide yourself and data needed to answer your question properly, such as your name, contact details, order number, order details and the content of the conversation.
In principle, we retain customer service messages for 6 months, unless it is necessary to retain data for longer for an ongoing question, complaint, return, warranty or legal obligation.
7. Newsletter and email marketing
For newsletters and email marketing, we use Reloadify. You can voluntarily sign up for our newsletter. In that case, we use your email address and any preferences to send you news, offers and product tips.
If you are a customer, we may also send you emails about our own similar products or services. You will always be given the option to unsubscribe.
You can unsubscribe at any time via the unsubscribe link at the bottom of our emails or by contacting us via [email protected]. We retain newsletter data until you unsubscribe or until we no longer need the data.
8. Reviews and customer ratings
After an order, we may ask you to leave a review through WebwinkelKeur or Google Reviews. For this, we may share data needed to send a review request, such as name, email address, order number and order details.
Leaving a review is voluntary. If you post a review, the data you include in the review yourself may become visible to others, depending on the review platform.
Cookies and tracking
9. Cookies, CookieConfirm, Google Analytics 4 and Google Tag Manager
Our website uses cookies and similar technologies. Some cookies are necessary for the webshop to function properly, for example for the shopping cart, security, language settings, cookie preferences and the checkout process.
We use CookieConfirm to manage cookie preferences. Through CookieConfirm, you can indicate which types of cookies you do or do not want to accept. You can also change your preferences later.
CookieConfirm may process information about your cookie preferences, such as your consent choice, the time of consent and technical data needed to remember and demonstrate your preferences.
We also use Google Analytics 4 and Google Tag Manager to gain insight into the use of our website, improve the functioning of our webshop and perform marketing measurements.
For cookies that require consent, we ask for consent via CookieConfirm. Tracking and marketing cookies are only placed when you give consent for this.
You can change your cookie preferences via the cookie banner or cookie settings on our website. You can also delete or block cookies through your browser settings.
If you refuse tracking or marketing cookies, you can still use our webshop. Some parts may then be less well tailored to your preferences.
10. How long do we retain personal data?
We do not retain personal data longer than necessary for the purpose for which we collected it, unless we are legally required to retain data for longer.
- Administration and invoices: 7 years due to the tax retention obligation.
- Customer accounts: as long as the account is active or until you request deletion, unless statutory retention obligations apply.
- Newsletter data: until you unsubscribe or until we no longer need the data.
- Customer service messages: in principle 6 months, unless longer retention is necessary for handling, warranty, complaint or legal obligation.
- Return data: as long as necessary for return handling, refunds, warranty and administration.
- Cookie preferences and consent registration: as long as necessary to remember your preferences and demonstrate consent, at least in accordance with the CookieConfirm settings.
- Cookie and analytics data: according to the retention periods of the cookie and analytics settings used.
11. Security of personal data
We take appropriate technical and organisational measures to protect personal data against loss, misuse, unauthorised access, disclosure and alteration.
This includes secure connections, access restrictions, carefully selected service providers and measures within our systems and processes. No digital processing is completely risk-free, but we do our best to protect your data as well as possible.
12. Your privacy rights
Under the GDPR, you have various rights regarding your personal data. You can ask us to:
- provide access to the personal data we process about you;
- correct incorrect or incomplete data;
- delete personal data;
- restrict processing;
- transfer data to you or another organisation;
- object to processing based on legitimate interest;
- withdraw previously given consent.

In principle, we respond to your request within one month. If a request is complex or if we receive many requests, this period may be extended as permitted under the GDPR.
13. Processing outside the European Economic Area
Some service providers we use may process personal data outside the European Economic Area, for example when international cloud services or Google services are used.
If personal data is processed outside the European Economic Area, we ensure that appropriate safeguards are used, such as standard contractual clauses, adequacy decisions or other legal mechanisms.
14. Minors
Our webshop is not specifically aimed at minors. We do not knowingly process personal data of children without the consent of a parent or legal representative. Do you think we may nevertheless be processing data of a minor? Please contact us.
15. Submitting a complaint
Do you have a complaint about how we handle your personal data? Please contact us first via [email protected]. We would like to try to find a solution together.
You also have the right to submit a complaint to the Dutch Data Protection Authority.

We may update this privacy statement when our services, systems or legal obligations change. The most current version is always available on our website.
